In an effort to comply with the Department of Health and Human Services - 45 CFR [DOCID:fr28de00-29], BTG strives to meet all the requirements and keep up to date on the rules as they change. Although 45 CFR is primarily targeted at Medical Billing and Individual Insurance Information and at this time Medical Transcription Services is not specifically included in the 45 CFR Statute under "Health care clearinghouse", Medical Transcription Service will most likely still be subject to the "Subpart E - Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information" section of HHS 45 CFR.
