This is the
center section of a control panel for a geothermal
electric plant similar to the one shown above. The
control panels are manufactured by Electrical Power
Products, Inc. for companies like Mitsubishi. The panel
occupied a full 45' semi-trailer. We have packaged
equipment from 500 lbs. to 50,000 lbs..

The control
panel is divided into three main components, the center
section (shown on this page) and two wing sections. All
three sections are crated in the same manor. First the
equipment is bolted on a foam "floater" base
and wrapped.

Barrier
bagging is used for over seas shipments. This is
especially useful when the equipment is to large for
aircraft and Sea-Containers. We barrier bag with Mil PRF-131 Class I, Class I (Tyvek), and Class III
(pictured) moisture vapor barrier material.

Large wood
crates are constructed with frame work that can handle
Forklift or Sling lifting like this one for Top Deck-Ocean Shipments. We can custom build the crate
to stand up to your special shipping and handling needs.

Crates can
be manufactured with 1 x 4 or 2 x 4 cleats as required.
The IPI Group has access to a local saw mill for rough
cut lumber of virtually any size.
