Finally a Lantern that's sized for backpacking and actually works. It's a hurricane lantern, technology from a time before electricity. This lantern holds 4oz. of fuel that burns for 12 hours and gives off 6 candle power. They give as much light as 6 candle lanterns! They are smaller and lighter weight than any white gas or compressed gas lantern.

This lantern has traveled from timberline to the bottom of the Grand Canyon over the last three years. It performed equally well in summer and winter camping.

The Lanterns burn Citronella Oil (repels bugs), Common Lamp Oil or Kerosene. When tipped over the lanterns immediately flood and go out (thoroughly tested).

The Lanterns are only 7 1/2" tall x 4" dia. and weigh only 12 1/2oz. complete.
